Floating Suction Dredger Rozmberk

The Rozmberk floating suction dredger uses a submersible sludge pump, which is located in the dredging shovel. The shovel enables height-selective sediment withdrawal in layers and prevents the formation of depressions during extraction. For the extraction of densely deposited sediments, the shovel can be equipped with a rotavator ripper, which breaks down the sediment to a depth of about 15 - 20 cm.

The suction sludge pump is located horizontally in the scoop. The entire scoop is controlled horizontally by moving the excavator over the winding ropes. The vertical direction (lift) of the scoop is secured by ropes. The scoop can be hung on a fixed arm or freely on the ropes. The scoop height position (depth below the water surface) can be adjusted automatically and monitored on-board. The suction mouth of the excavator pump is equipped with a sieve, which prevents the suction of fish and various objects.

The transport of extracted mixture is carried out exclusively by displacement in welded PE pipes without any noise pollution, drippings, dust or increased demands on land occupation, etc.

The floating suction dredger is fully operational and complies with all related legislation.
